Overview[]
Pericles is an NPC that can be found in World 4, Pericles' Throne and in World 8, The End as both a NPC and an Enemy.
Description (NPC)[]
At Pericles' Throne Pericles will be sitting on his throne. A dialog can be triggered when interacted with him. He will disappear from his throne after Lord Eclipsus has been killed for the first time.
At The End, Pericles will be waiting for the player. A dialog can be triggered when interacted with him. If you have all seven Periastrons collected, (excluding the Hazel Periastron, Fuchsia Periastron and the Seasonal Periastrons), the player will be able to progress past the Periastron Bridge to enter the portal to fight Pericles.
Dialog (Pericles' Throne)[]
Oh? I didn't expect to meet someone here.
You defeated the Elementals who were protecting me, however I sense that you do not wish to harm me.
In that case, have you heard of the Periastrons?
They're swords created in the Kingdom of Apastron, and are held very closely by me and the 7 nobles.
There are 8 Periastrons in total, Rainbow, Amethyst, Azure, Crimson, Grimgold, Ivory, Chartreuse, and Noir. Each noble of the kingdom, known as The Stars of Apastron, wielded one, and if they had come together, their power would be unmatched.
However, one of the nobles, my brother Lord Eclipsus didn't agree with how things were run. He believed only in the kingdom's power and might, and thought that seperating [Sic] the Periastrons across all of the nobles was a waste of their potential.
He defeated the other Stars of Apastron, and drained the power of their Periastrons to harness for himself, none of them could see it coming from Eclipsus, who had been close to them all their lives.
Lord Eclipsus has gained incredible power, and developed a massive army giving the 6 Periastrons he stole to some of his most powerful minions, and wielding the Noir Periastron himself.
My Rainbow Periastron is weakened, as its power can only be used when the 7 powers of the kingdom are aligned, and I can not defeat him alone.
However, if you can collect the Periastrons and restore their power, you may be able to surpass even me.
If you can complete my task, come back here, and you may begin my final trial.
Dialog (The End)[]
Remember back when we first met, I told you about Apastron's nobles? We each wield a Periastron; or, I guess we used to.
Eclipsus held the Noir Periastron. He rose to his spot because he was just that good at fighting. I don't know if he's fueled by hatred or what, but the day I first saw him come in was the first time I think I've ever felt imposed.
Even without a Periastron, he's one damn fighter. Throw in the abilities from the Periastrons, and well... calling him a challenge would be an understatement. He's probably the only challenge I've ever faced in recent memory. Shame that I gave up before even trying.
Eventually though, Eclipsus became discontent with my rulership. He thought that Periastrons were far beyond a gift from the stars, and that spreading that power and ownership was a waste of their true potential. Before we knew it, he'd stripped the power from all the Periastrons and infused it into his, which is why defeating him rekindled your own.
That's why I had you defeat him. I just couldn't bring myself to do something like that to somebody like him. I used to value him; I still do to an extent, because for time we've spent, I feel like we've forged something invaluable. He might've not liked the way I ran the show, but we were still family.
But now look at you. You stand strong with my nobles' Periastrons; far stronger than Eclipsus could've imagined you'd stand. My time is running low, so if you'd please, let us test that strength. Collect them all and show me your resolve, and maybe you'll be the next person to rule these periastron stars.
Description (Enemy)[]
Pericles is a Superboss Enemy in World 8, The End and can only be fought after the players gathers the 7 Periastrons. As an Enemy, he will have a different face and a single rainbow wing on his left side.
Location[]
Pericles is found in the middle of what appears to be space.
Special Attacks[]
- Rainbow Beam:
Pericles uses the Rainbow Periastron's ability, creating all the Periastrons behind him in a circle, then fires a beam against the player to deal damage.
- Comet Smash:
Pericles falls from the ground, making it shine and deal damage.
- Omega Starstorm:
Pericles starts to make stars to fall from the sky, each star dealing damage.
After using a special attack Pericles will need to land on the ground and recharge for 10 seconds.

Trivia[]
- Pericles is the final boss of the game.
- He's the only enemy who has two items with a 1/1 drop chance.
- The base damage of 2.00M that is displayed in the Index is unused because Pericles does not do regular attacks.
- Killing Pericles before you have the required level to reach him will instantly ban the player.
- Pericles is the NPC with the most dialog, having 28 texts comprising of 552 words.
